The RCMP received a call from a camper at English Creek campground reporting they could here somebody calling for help and it sounded like the call was originating from where the Elk River feeds into Lake Koocanusa.  The RCMP and FADSAR headed out to Lake Koocanusa with the RCMP searching the South side of the Elk River and FADSAR searching the North side of the river.  When we arrived the calls for help had stopped as the subject had been picked up by a boater and returned to the shore.  Fortunately the boater saw the RCMP vehicle and was able to confirm they had rescued the subject.
