A Kayak had been reported trapped in a stopper but no report had been received about either a missing person or somebody claiming the Kayak as theirs therefore the kayak had to be retrieved and the river searched to ensure it was not a lone kayaker who had gotten into difficulty. After searching the river and the stopper the kayak was caught in no indication of a subject was found and the search terminated by the RCMP.
