Requested by Elkford SAR to assist with the search for a missing hiker in Kananaskis who may possibly have made his way South towards Elk Lakes.  Elkford SAR had already completed a hasty search through the day and were looking for mutual aid to extend the search into the next day.

After a conference call later that evening it was decided there was no evidence the man had intended to make his way South and the search terminated from the B.C. side with the Albertan services to perform further investigations and searches in and around the Kananaskis area.

As a result FADSAR were stood down and no response was organised.
