A male out photographing first biked then turned to hiking when the double track road turned into a trail in the Fairy Creek area.  When returning to his bike his flashlight batteries died and he was unable to locate his bike and therefore was not sure if he was on the same trail he ascended and became disorientated and unsure on his exact whereabouts.  FADSAR sent two members in the main SAR vehicle as it has both plenty of lighting and sirens to act as an attractant to draw the subject to the correct trail head.  The subject (and his bike) were quickly located and the subject returned to town on his bike.
