This will be our first swift water training session this year, we would like all the current swift water team and any other members interested in joining the team to attend.

The province has brought in new policies regarding training and we would like to use this session to explain the requirement/commitment needed to be on the technical team or the operational team.

This first session we will be looking at whats involved on the certification courses, a recap on river hydrology and then we will go outside for some throwbag practise.

We plan to then be on the water on Sat 4th July for a half day session starting in the morning.

These two sessions along with a couple more evening sessions and another half day on the river should get us closer to the required minimum hours needed each year.
