A 23 year old male had entered the Bisaro mountain cave off of Heiko's trail on his own and had not returned back to his party within the agreed upon time after which the remainder of the party became worried and returned to their vehicle where they had cell reception and were able to call for help.

Fernie SAR responded with an advance team closely followed by a support team and as the advance team were approaching the witness's location the subject had also made his way back to the vehicle and further assistance from Fernie SAR was no longer required.
