RCMP asked FADSAR to provide a CAA Level 2 avalanche expert to ride in a helicopter as a safety precaution whilst a search was undertaken for some missing snowmobilers. The snowmobilers were in their expected location and had just forgotton to activate their SPOT devoce at the end of the day to inform they were ok.
