This month we will be going through helicopter protocol. The session has been arranged with Ascent Helicopters (unless they are called out on an emergency) so that members can become familiar with the helicopter, including safety around the Heli, getting in/out, loading a stretcher, making a landing zone.
We will meet at the SAR hall for 6:30 then carpool up to the hanger. Dress for outside as part of the session will be outdoors.

(please note for the higher level first aiders there will be an option to stay behind for 20-30mins after general training to run through a first aid scenario)
