GSAR Rescue with use of ropes (not technical rope rescue)

Winter Survival – shelter & fire building

Please bring your ready packs and be ready to be outside

First Aid Scenarios inside & outside.

Please be dressed for outdoors and have a headlamp

This month we will be looking at avalanche rescue and practicing skills with stations. Bring transceivers, probes and shovels and headlamps  And be prepared to be outside.

This month we will be looking at map & nav skills With table top exercise indoors. Please bring your compass

This month we will look at winter preparedness and will also have a short presentation on CISM .

We will be indoors.

Swiftwater technician course

This month we will be outside with  a scenario using search techniques for a rescue. Be prepared to be outside, possibly in the dark. 

This month we will be running stations there will be ropes/knots, throwbags,navigation and first aid. we will be outside for some of the stations
